I had to make a quick video because I saw a shift in the natural hair winds. The more we create solutions to toxic synthetic hair the closer everyone had come to whatever version of locs feels best to them.  I went the microlocs route because I have to have versatility. Y’all have seen me do everything I can think of to my natural hair and big hair reigns supreme on my list of preferences. 

As with any wave, there are people jumping in grabbing a fast dollar, and that can leave people with the wrong impression of a style choice. In the video I illustrate and discuss a safe path forward into microlocs.
